1:15 p.m. in the Alexander Room
Learn how to build a personal fitness practice that creates greater overall health and wellness for mind, body, and spirit. Nasrina Evenstar, Associate Health & Wellness Director at YMCA, will be speaking on the intersection of mental and physical health. She will also be teaching some basic breath skills and yoga postures to facilitate the use of fitness and physical form to soothe the nervous system and bring a calming effect to the mind.

Learn Heartsaver CPR! Ted Williams is a Licensed Paramedic and the owner of Rescue Ready. In addition to his knowledge and skills acquired in the field as a paramedic, his experience in the entertainment industry allows Ted to create a fun, lively, and interesting atmosphere that enhances the learning process. You’ll come away from the class feeling more confident to help, and equipped with the essential skills to do so.

Learn easy steps that allow you to be a partner with your own body!

In the aftermath of the Kincade Fire, and the lengthy evacuations and power outages that went along with it, we have a panel of three local experts who will talk about crisis recovery for your:
Body...the physical impact of crisis and how to relieve the stress, tension, etc.
Matthew Dalsing, LMFT of St. Joseph Health's Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, will address the ways that stress can be detrimental to your body. It affects your immune system and increases risk of anxiety, depression and even heart attack. Learn how to manage stress and find balance, even in today's ultra-connected society.
Mind...the mental impact of crisis and how to cope with anxiety, depression, etc.
Soul...the emotional impact of crisis and how to better handle anger, fear, etc
